It so great to see men kimono fashion getting wilder pattern and color wise! Those kind of very showy kimono are usually mostly seen worn by performer or rikishi (sumo wrestlers, see examples below) but underground fashion is making a nice come back :)

I was just gonna reblog the first one with a comment like “if Lisa frank designed kimono” but then I saw the sumo wrestlers and fell in love. Big dudes who look fantastic in kimono. Now I want kimono that looks good on bigger women
